 Troitskiy mall disassembling launched | | 20.03.2008, 18:15 |  |  |  | On Thursday, March 20, FFU president Grigoriy Surkis took part in the ceremony of Troitskiy mall disassembling.
During this event Kyiv city mayor announced Troitskiy mall would be disassembled by summer. This was also informed by Kyiv City State Administration.
«Today Troitskiy mall disassembling is launched; this object has been a true hurdle on the way of EURO 2012 hosting. The demands UEFA experts set will be fulfilled, and we will have completed disassembling this notorious object by the time summer starts. Actually, the permission to build this object was issued by the previous Kyiv authority», − Leonid Chernovetskiy announced.
He highlighted that appropriate preparation and staging EURO 2012 is a main trend of work of mayor’s office. Kyiv mayor noted that Kyiv holds the highest level of readiness for EURO 2012. «President’s order on timely preparation to this very important event will be fulfilled. We get down to solving this issue in a complex way. At the time being we upgrade public transport, reconstruct cultural objects according to European level, put proper light on streets and buildings.»
«At the time my team succeeded in increasing city budget in five times, we know where to get money. And I’d like to say that Kyiv infrastructure will be ready for. And we will host EURO 2012 in a true European capital», − Leonid Chernovetskiy revealed. |
