Winners from Zeleniy Gai | | 27.05.2008, 15:10 | FFU inform-service | |  | | On Tuesday, May 27, the winner of all-Ukrainian competitions for «Leather ball» club prizes among youths of the 1996 year of birth was determined. The team of Zeleniy Gai village secondary school didn’t occupy the first place in the final round and will represent Ukraine at the final in «Danon Nation Cup» tournament in Lion.
Eight winners
According to the results of the competitions organized by amateur football of Ukraine Association with the help of Football Federation of Ukraine (FFU) the winners of eight zonal groups got into the final tournament: the teams of secondary schools ¹4 of Kahovka (Kherson region), ¹3 of Volodymyr-Volynskiy (Volyn region), ¹27 of Vinnitsya, ¹26 of Rivne, ¹26 of Lugansk, ¹19 of Mykolayiv, Zeleniy Gai village (Chernivtsi region) and boarding school from the city of Ghadyach (Poltava region).
Trophies from Zidan
In the final match Zeleniy Gai team won the team from Vinnitsya 2:0. Young winners in addition to the Cup and medals got a permit for international tournament «Danon Nation Cup» which is to be hold at the beginning of September in Lyon. One of the patrons of the competitions is Zinedin Zidan who will personally present the trophies to the winners. It should be also mentioned that it will be the fifth time when Ukrainians take part in this tournament. |
