On Saturday, June 7, the matches of the second round of Victor Bannikov Memorial were played. Ukraine U-16 team lost the match against Russian coevals 0:1.
Deciding penalty
Advantage was at Ukrainian side, but Russian player were those who opened the score. On the 29th minute their counterattack ended with a foul of Ukrainians within the measures of a penalty area. As a result a penalty kick was put by the referee. The goalkeeper of «blue-yellow» parried a ball, but Russians scored on the rebound. Till the end of a match none of the teams managed to score.
